Good to know

Fire risk

We are a high-risk fire area, be conscious regarding braaing, we often have strong winds picking up during the night and we would hate for a stray coal to cause trouble.  Once you are finished braaing – extinguish the fire – there is a bucket in the cleaning cupboard or a hosepipe nearby.

Wood

4 x crates of wood will be provided with every booking 

Any additional wood can be cash purchased for R50 a crate 

Please remember to pack enough firelighters.

 

 

Breakage

If any breakage – kindly inform us and see the honesty jar in the cleaning cupboard.

Nearest Towns

Greyton – 25min drive They have a wonderful morning market on Saturdays, lots of restaurants, hikes etc. Please see: http://www.greytonaccommodation.com for more information on

Riviersonderend – 10 min drive. Ou Meul offers a GREAT breakfast and coffee, highly recommend for a morning/ lunch treat.

Closest shops:  O.K in Greyton.
